Aggregation & Attribution

Lubbock Chronicle is a local news publication of Flatland Media. In addition to original reporting, Lubbock Chronicle may summarize, reference, aggregate, or link to information published by government agencies, public institutions, businesses, organizations, news outlets, and other sources.

Our Attribution Standard: Whenever practical, Lubbock Chronicle identifies and links to the original or primary source of information. When information originates from a government record, public meeting agenda, press release, police report, university release, court filing, election record, sports result, or other primary source, we generally credit and link directly to that source. When another news organization provides original reporting, interviews, photographs, analysis, or information not available from a primary source, Lubbock Chronicle credits that news organization and, when practical, links readers to the original reporting.

Summaries and Excerpts: 
Lubbock Chronicle may summarize information from other sources to inform readers about matters relevant to Lubbock and the surrounding area.
