A person was struck and killed by a train early Monday in southeast Lubbock, police say, according to KCBD.
Officers were called just after 6 a.m. to the 6100 block of Southeast Drive, near East Loop 289. Police said the person died at the scene.
The Lubbock Police Department is investigating. The story is developing.
