Authorities have arrested a suspect in a deadly shooting in east Lubbock earlier this month.
KCBD reports that the Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center and U.S. Marshals arrested 24-year-old Akkini McDade in connection with the October 11 shooting that killed 28-year-old Delton Lewis. Another person, 18-year-old Yundi Inthisan-Johnson, was injured, according to the station's reporting.
McDade faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a reported $250,000 bond. The charges are allegations; he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
