Republican-history voters accounted for 53.2% of voters in Lubbock County's first two days of early voting, according to a turnout classification table provided to the Chronicle. The table covers October 19 and 20 and identifies voters by prior voting history, not by their choices in this election.

The Republican-history category leads the Democratic-history category by 3,636 voters, or about 20.8 percentage points of the classified two-day total. The Republican-history count increased by 363 from Monday to Tuesday, while the Democratic-history count declined by 673. These trends do not establish how voters cast their ballots or predict a result.

A separate historical turnout report from Lubbock County Elections Administrator Troy Havard lists 17,490 votes in the first two days, three fewer than the 17,493 in the voter-history classification table. The county historical report shows 11,528 in the first two days of 2022 and 18,297 in 2018. The 2026 historical total is 51.7% above 2022 and 4.4% below 2018. The three-voter discrepancy remains unresolved, most likely due to a reporting error between the County and the State.
