A Lubbock motorcycle club leader has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison in a methamphetamine trafficking case. Steven Glenn Ryals, 72, president of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club's Lubbock Notorious Chapter, received a 135-month sentence on October 16, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas.
Federal prosecutors said investigators found approximately 3.2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine during a February 2025 search of the clubhouse, which also served as Ryals's residence. Laboratory testing confirmed 1,449.6 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride at 98% purity. Ryals was convicted of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
