President Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Lubbock on Tuesday, October 27. President Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Lubbock on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 2:30 p.m., and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton is expected to join him.
Organizers have not officially announced a venue, but a source told the Lubbock Chronicle the rally will be held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Early Voting Is Underway
Lubbock County opened 21 early voting locations today for the November 3 general election. Voting continues through October 30. Most sites are scheduled for 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily, with noon–6 p.m. on Sunday, October 25. Registered county voters may use any county early voting center.

Road conditions: TxDOT has converted FM 1585 at Avenues U and P to all-way stops during Loop 88 construction. A new overnight closure is scheduled at FM 41 and US 87 from 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, to 7 a.m. Thursday, October 22. Thursday, October 22. FM 41 closes in both directions, and the inside lane of southbound US 87 closes during bridge work. Detours will be in place, weather permitting.
