Texas Tech–Cincinnati kickoff set for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Big 12 announced Sunday that the Red Raiders will visit Cincinnati at 11 a.m. Central on October 24, with national television coverage on FS1. Texas Tech (6–0, 3–0 Big 12) will make its first trip to Nippert Stadium following Saturday's 53–25 Homecoming win over Arizona State. Cincinnati enters 4–2.
Texas Tech volleyball swept at Houston. The Red Raiders fell 3–0 Sunday afternoon, dropping to 8–11 overall and 0–7 in the Big 12. Shelby Ignash had eight kills and three blocks. Houston won the sets 25–17, 25–9 and 25–23. Tech returns home Friday, October 23, to face UCF at 6 p.m. at United Supermarkets Arena.

Monday, October 19: Early voting begins for the November 3 general election. Lubbock County lists 21 early-voting locations. Voting is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through October 30, except Sunday, October 25, when hours are noon to 6 p.m. Check Lubbock County Elections for the official complete list and updates.
