Police Investigate Death Following September South Lubbock Crash
A September collision has become a fatal investigation. Lubbock police say Mario Murillo, 68, died October 10 from injuries suffered in a September 25 crash at 130th Street and Upland Avenue. Investigators say their preliminary findings indicate the other driver ran a stop sign. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues. KCBD reported the update.
Texas Tech Soccer's Unbeaten Run Ends at BYU
No. 8 Texas Tech women's soccer lost 3–2 Friday night at No. 22 BYU, ending an 18-match unbeaten streak. Taylor Zdrojewski scored both Red Raider goals. Texas Tech returns home Thursday, October 22, to face West Virginia at 7 p.m.
